(Members of the I.T.K.A. of Great Britain)
CONGRATULATIONS!!
Sensei Ken Tsai and Wadhah (Woody) Saleh for
successfully passing their YONDAN (4th Dan)
& Junior SANDAN (3rd Dan)
grading respectively.
These were taken in Chicago under Sensei M. Bambouyani (8th
Dan).
If you are interested in joining the club and would like to come along
& get more information or would like to observe a
class you would be most welcome.
If you are interested just come to any of the classes wearing loose sport
clothing and join in.
The club is located at
Pakistani Centre on Mulgrave Street,
just 5 minutes from Women's Hospital, Liverpool.

We have an excellent instructor Sensei Kenneth Tsai, 4th Dan.
Training with I.T.K.A. Liverpool Shotokan Karate Club provides
access to many national and international competitions.
We have recently returned from Chicago Illinois, USA
where the squad competed in the 11th
International World Friendship Tournament.
This
was the 3rd consecutive year that we have entered this Tournament the
first time being 2007.
We
has also be fortunate enough to compete in the
JSKA World Open Karate Championships
2008 (held in Manchester, UK) &2006 (held in New York, USA)
Malta International
Championships in 2006 & 2007
National
Competitions the club have attended range across the whole of Great
Britain
from
Scotland, Cannock, Preston, Lincoln, Oldham and Hemel Hempstead to name a
few.
We are currently training hard to prepare for next years
12th I.T.K.A.
World Friendship Tournament in Chicago USA.
To
be held on the 17th April 2011 in aid of the Bam Earthquake.
Whilst
attending this Tournament in the USA,
we will also be attending another
Tournament in Kentucky, USA
on
the 9th April 2011 which is being hosted by Sensei Steve Napier
as
the I.T.K.A. GB were invited to attend the tournament by Sensei Napier
whilst we were in Chicago in 2010.
